Q: Which realtor group are you with?
A: I'm with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate – Gary Greene. It's a national brand with 20+ local offices and 1,200 agents across the Houston metro area.

Q: Tell us about your background. Where you're from, where you went to school, and how long you've been in the real estate business?
A: I'm a 26 year resident of Houston, TX currently residing in Tanglewood near the Galleria. I have 30 years of experience in business which has provided an excellent foundation for working within the Houston Real Estate market for the last 5 years. The real estate transaction is a puzzle so to speak, with many challenges, hurdles, and obstacles for the client. I've been known as a problem-solver throughout my career, so that character trait serves me well in this industry. I have a vast network of quality professionals within the industry to support client needs. I'm focused in Tanglewood, Uptown, Galleria and Memorial; however I'm available to provide assistance in all areas of Houston and Harris County. I'm originally from New Orleans, LA. I served in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division and graduated from LSU and HBU respectively with my B.A. and MBA. In my spare time, you will find me running at Memorial Park or the Tanglewood Blvd path. I'm an avid cyclist, hiker, yogi, and traveler. I have has also published two books – Pill Pushers and recently Gumbo for the Tiger Soul.

Q: What's a tip that you can give our readers who are shopping in the Houston market?
A: The best tip I can give your readers would be to consult with a licensed Realtor before beginning the process. Interview 2 or 3 agents to determine who you feel comfortable working with. Have a list of questions prepared. Discuss financing options, lender etc. Ask about the search process. Ask about inspections. Ask about how you can make your offer as strong as possible.front-view-west-to-east-sunset

Q: What do you provide to your clients that really makes your service special?
A: I focus on customer service, which means customizing my efforts to the clients wants and needs. I listen carefully to client requests and sometimes they're the unspoken requests. I also, communicate in the most desirable manner for the client.

Q: What's the biggest perk of living in Houston?
A: I call Houston the "smallest BIG city in the country"! What I mean is that while Houston is a major metropolitan city there are aspects that make it seem small. The number of small businesses, parks, hospitals, and neighborhoods that are intertwined into this huge city gives it a small feel at times. You never know when you're going to run into someone you know!
